Autarchy

Complex systems, such as organisms, including societies, operate by self-governance. External control, or regulation by a part for the whole is too complex, too limited, too late and too deadly. Self-regulation, as a means of governance of society, is called Autarchy.

Welcome to Autarchy

If everyone knows how to take care of themselves, they also know how to give care to others.

Humanity is in a process of growing up.

There is a relationship between forms of government and growing up:

  • Dictatorship - treats people like babies, or slaves
    they respond by rebellion (terrorism)
  • Regents - treat the population like infants
    they respond by resistance (strike)
  • Democracy - treats the population via permits
they react by action groups (feedback)
  • Autarchy - requires no government
people take care of themselves and give care to each other
